Licensed Psychologist (PsyD) - Focused Therapy Specialist 

 

Location: Fremont, CA 
 

Position: 32 Hours/Week - Hybrid

 

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Licensed Psychologist to join our mental health team, providing comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for adult and/or child members. The psychologist will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to design individualized treatment plans and provide psychotherapy to individuals, couples, families, and groups. Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct mental health assessments, diagnose psychiatric conditions, and develop treatment plans.
  • Provide outpatient psychotherapy to individuals, couples, families, and groups.
  • Participate in staff conferences to evaluate and plan treatment programs.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to evaluate patients for psychotropic medications.
  • Maintain confidential records, prepare treatment plans, and document patient progress.
  • Provide consultation to other care providers and health educators.
  • May supervise trainees or post-masters fellows as needed.
  • Participate in program development and evaluation efforts.
  • Utilize community and public resources to assist in patient treatment.

 

Qualifications:

Education: PsyD in Clinical Psychology

Licensure: California Psychologist License required

Experience: Experience with DSM-V diagnosis, psychological testing, and psychotherapy.

                     Must be eligible to see Medicare patients

Skills: Competence in individual, family, and group psychotherapy; familiarity with Evidence-Based Practice and research methods; knowledge of bio-psycho-social functions contributing to mental health.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience with crisis intervention, group psychotherapy, and psychological evaluations.
  • Previous experience with administering psychological tests and writing assessment batteries.
  • Experience treating eating disorders is a plus.

 

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary: $114,700 – $128,095 per year.
  • Sign-On Bonus: Potential for up to $10,000.
