Sonographer – Diagnostic Cardiac - Portland, OR Suburb
Position Details:
- Full-time hospital and clinical setting role.
- Perform routine, emergent, portable, and surgical diagnostic procedures.
- Communicate with cardiologists and assist with patient transport.
- Participate in on-call or standby schedule as required.
Qualifications:
- Completion of a two-year AMA-approved program with one year of ultrasound training and certification, OR
- Two years of Allied Health with a certified two-year ARDMS program, OR
- Completion of an AMA-accredited ultrasound program with ARDMS or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) registration (new grads must obtain within one year of hire).
- Experience with TEE, Stress Echo, and Pediatric Echosonography - preferred
Licensure & Certifications:
- Registered Cardiac Sonographer (CCI) OR Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (ARDMS) within 12 months of hire.
- Sonography Technologist License (Oregon).
- Basic Life Support within one month of hire.
