• 7 on / 7 off block schedule 

• Average census of 18
 • 72 hospital beds 
 • 12 hour shifts 
 • 2 rounding day physician (7 a.m. - 7 p.m.) plus one APC
 • Nights covered by APC.  Daytime hospitalist takes night telephone call
 • Rapids & codes required
 • Open ICU – no procedures but vent management required 
 • Cerner EMR
