Nurse Manager - Oncology Opportunity in the Greater Sacramento area
Position Overview:
Lead a large oncology unit or multiple ambulatory care units, ensuring high-quality, patient-focused, and cost-effective care in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Responsible for clinical standards, staff development, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee unit operations, ensuring compliance with the Nurse Practice Act and other standards.
- Collaborate with physicians to maintain patient care and service quality.
- Develop and manage budgets, monitor performance, and implement cost-saving measures.
- Hire, train, and maintain staff competency while fostering professional development.
- Address patient care issues and act as a patient advocate.
- Ensure safety, risk management, and policy compliance.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of nursing leadership/management experience.
- 5+ years of supervisory experience.
- California RN License and BLS certification.
- Oncology or infusion floor experience.
- 3+ years in an outpatient setting preferred
- Master's degree preferred
Compensation:
- Salary: $180,500 – $272,600/year + 10% annual bonus target and sign-on bonus
