Nurse Practitioner - Interventional Spine (Diabetes Management)
Seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner to join a strong and collegial group of two Physicians and one Physician Assistant in a Spine Center
Outpatient Clinic schedule
A four-day, 10-hour work schedule. No weekends, no holidays.
The candidate should have experience in independently managing diabetes and is interested in helping develop a program treating diabetic peripheral neuropathy with neuromodulation (spinal cord stimulation).
The main duty will consist of optimizing glycemic control over a three-to-six-month window prior to considering spinal cord stimulation.
The provider will also work up the patient for their candidacy for spinal cord stimulation as well as coordinating postoperative spinal cord stimulator programming.
This position does not require any experience with spinal cord stimulation and that information will be taught to the nurse practitioner.
No chronic opiate pain medication prescribing.
