Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant – Cardiovascular Surgery

Location: 1 hour from Philadelphia

Job Summary:
 Seeking an Advanced Practitioner (NP or PA) to join our Cardiothoracic Surgery team. The role involves working with surgeons and a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care. Responsibilities include consults, rounding, admissions, discharges, first assisting in surgery, and ICU management. This position offers both day and night shifts, with weekend call every three weeks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform procedures such as pacing wire and chest tube removal, wound care, and VAC changes.
• Preoperative and postoperative patient management, including H&P, diagnostic studies, and communications.
• Provide care and oversight for ICU patients and cover floor duties during assigned 
• shifts.

Schedule:

• Three 13-hour shifts weekly, with a mix of days and nights. Weekend call every three weeks.

Qualifications:

• Active Pennsylvania PA or NP license, ACLS, BLS certified.
• Relevant clinical experience preferred.
