Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner - Inpatient Opportunity

Seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join a practice in Southern Oregon. 

Advanced Practitioner to manage an average inpatient volume of 8 patients during day shifts, and up to 12 patients daily in the outpatient clinic. All inpatients will have a Psychiatrist as the primary attending as back-up to co-sign notes. 

Home call will be 5pm-7am, providing call coverage answering questions on patients in house and providing admitting orders for new patients.  Every call shift will have a Psychiatrist as back up for questions felt to be out of the scope of practice. Admitting psychiatrist will review all admitting orders the next day. Outpatient responsibilities will be comprised of a standard outpatient practice in which the advanced practitioner will see patients alone and will have a psychiatrist available to review any cases on an as needed basis. 

License / Certification: Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner licensed by the Oregon State Board of Nursing or Physician Assistant certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and licensed by the Oregon Board of Medical Examiners.
