Ophthalmic Hospitalist OD Opportunity in North Carolina

 

Seeking an experienced Optometrist to serve as Hospitalist to join a multidisciplinary team in eastern North Carolina.  

 

This is a unique opportunity to provide first-line optometric care and non-urgent eye consultations.  Residency training in ocular disease preferred.  Candidates with an interest in practicing optometry in an academic setting are encouraged to apply.

The Medical Center is a tertiary referral center with a large population of patients with complex pathology. Hiring providers of all specialties for a robust multi-specialty practice and plans to develop a teaching program on-site. There is a large hospital based and local optometrist and ophthalmologist-based referral network with few other retina specialists in the community.
