Position: RN - Labor & Delivery

 

Employment Type: Full-time

 

Shifts: 12-hour Day shifts

 

Hospital Information: The Labor & Delivery unit is fast-paced and has 21 Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) rooms. The unit welcomes over 2,600 babies into the world each year.  The hospital is a Magnet Designated hospital and is known for providing high-risk obstetric services, often serving mothers and babies with complicated medical conditions.  The job offers various opportunities for RNs, including working with laboring patients, circulating in the operating room (OR), providing post-anesthesia care unit (PACU) services, and caring for high-risk postpartum and obstetric triage patients with emergent conditions.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• California Registered Nurse License.
• National Provider BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association.
• National Provider NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification from the American Academy of Pediatrics.
• 1 year of nursing experience in the Labor and Delivery Department.
