Urologist Opportunity in Northwest North Carolina

Excellent position for a well-motivated, BC/BE urologist. This is a hospital employed position associated with a network of physician clinics and an 81-bed acute care hospital.  This position has been added to allow an expansion of patient access to an already thriving practice!

The current practice model has the incoming provider working 4 to 4.5 days per week. Clinic hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The current patient load is approximately 30 patients per day.  Block time in the OR is currently 3 days per week if needed. On call is 10 days and is co-managed with hospitalists and ED physicians.  Procedures performed by the practice include TURPS, Lithotripsy, and Cystoscopy.  Minor procedures may be performed in the clinic. Call time frame to hospital to campus is a mere 30 minutes.

A competitive compensation package is being offered. A base salary of $525,000.00 with an opportunity for RVU incentives.  A total benefit that includes the following: Sign-on bonus of up to $50,000.00, relocation allowance of $15,000.00.  240 hours of paid vacation per year, $4,000.00 CME allowance annually; a negotiable residency/fellowship stipend, 457B, 401K, and 403B alternative! Insurance includes life, health, family health, malpractice, and other incentives.

The area offers some of the best places to bike, hike and drive to see the color display. The Blue Ridge Parkway, considered the nation’s most scenic byway, draws thousands of visitors to the region each year during winter, spring, summer, and autumn. Centrally located between Mount Airy and Charlotte, Boone and Winston-Salem, as well as Greensboro.  The quaint historical downtown is situated along the Yadkin River with shopping and restaurants.  Section of The Overmountain Victory Trail runs through town.  The town has a municipal airport with ground transportation available, only minutes away from downtown.  You are 70 miles to Charlotte and 60 miles to Greensboro.  You are 46 minutes to Winston Salem NC
